Bialetti Collection
Great set of what should be "High End" pots & pans. I bought these much cheaper than I could have got them in the store for, and saved about $90.00.

Toxic non-stick coating
These are actually well crafted pots/pans with lots of nice feature (that's why I bought them), but, after a while, I could see black particles coming off when I wiped the Teflon coating. Even though I was only heating it to a max of medium heat, later, the coating began to turn brown. Finally, I started to smell a slight burnt plastic smell when cooking gravies (and we all actually got a little sick).

I just don't think these are safe for human consumption, no matter to what temp you heat them. The safety guidelines for non-stick include NOT pre-heating an empty pan (even with oil in it)...which means no quick searing. Sorry, I'm not putting food in a cold pan...that's not cooking.

There may be safe, non-toxic, non-stick coatings available...but this is not one. A company just stating their coating is "safe" is in their immediate best interest, not the consumers long term interest. I don't want to be a guinea pig, so it's stainless steel and cast iron from...

Really impressed
So far I'm thoroughly pleased with this cookware. Looks great, comfortable handles, nice heavy weight, and most importantly, heats evenly without the hotspots found with less substantial cookware. Absolutely love the size of the 'dutch oven'. It's heavy enough and the perfect size for my 'no knead bread' recipe.

I'll admit to being a bit leery prior to purchase. Only announced in June of 2011, this line was an unproven commodity. We were leaning heavily toward the All-Clad stainless line. I decided to order the 1qt saucepan of the French Classic Cuisinart cookware to compare. After that we were sold.

Pros:
Induction compatible, which was a must for us as we plan on upgrading to an induction cook top.
Handles more comfortable than All-Clad (an individual thing I'm sure. Try them both if you can to see which you prefer.)
Price compared to other what I would call "better quality" lines of cookware like All-Clad, Viking's Pro line,...

French classic
Awesome set. Fast to heat up. Even heating. Foods don't stick. Comfortable handles. Great look and mirror finish all for hundreds of dollars less than all clad.
LOVE this cookware!!
I purchased this 10-piece Cuisinart cookware set to replace a set of Revere ProLines that are falling apart (literally, the copper bottoms are dropping off). I thought my ProLines were pretty good, but the quality of the Cuisinart French Classic far surpasses what I've been using, with triple-thick walls, stainless form-fitting covers, and a nice balance in the hand with contoured handles. They are on the heavy side, but I like a substantial pan, they feel durable and I don't doubt they will last a lifetime. They heat quickly and cook evenly with less heat because of the aluminum core.

A few (minor) complaints: The large rivets for the handles on the inside of the pots are a little hard to clean up, but that doesn't affect my overall love of the cookware. Then they recommend plastic or wood utensils to preserve the glossy interior. I don't care so much about the insides, so I'll continue to use metal utensils on my cookware. I would have also liked to have seen another...

How To Steam Clean: Getting ready

1. Fill the water tank.

        a. Remove the tank by lifting straight up and away from the unit.

        b. Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the water tank and remove the insert assembly.

        c. Fill the water tank with water. For best results, water should be at room temperature.

        d. Replace the insert assembly and cap, tighten until snug.

        e. Replace the water tank by lining up the vertical guides and gently sliding it back into place.

3. Twist the quick release cord wrap clockwise to unwrap the power cord completely, make sure both switches are in the "OFF" position and plug it into a 120-volt grounded outlet as described on the Important Safety Instructions page.

4. Turn power button on. The ready light will illuminate when the Steam & Sweep™ Pet is ready for use.

Before you clean

The Steam & Sweep Pet can be used as a sweeper and a steam mop at the same time. For best results on pet hair, use the Steam & Sweep Pet's powerful sweeper to clear the floor of pet hair prior to mopping.

1. Turn the brush switch to the On ( I ) position to activate the brush.

2. To empty the dirt container, turn the power off, gently tap the release pedal on the swivel head. Lift unit straight up leaving bin on floor and empty into a trash can. The dirt container may be warm to the touch.

3. Replace the dirt container by pushing it back into the swivel head until it snaps back into place.

Steam cleaning hard floors

Your Steam & Sweep Pet is designed to clean hard flooring such as ceramic tile, vinyl, marble, stone and sealed hard wood floors. Use of your Steam & Sweep Pet on waxed or some unwaxed floors may result in a diminished glossiness. The Steam & Sweep Pet is not for use on unsealed wood floors. For best results, test in an inconspicuous area and check the care instructions from your flooring manufacturer.

1. When the ready light illuminates, begin cleaning by slowly passing over the surface while pressing the steam on demand trigger to emit steam as needed.

2. To sanitize an area of your floor, (attack invisible germs and bacteria) leave the Steam & Sweep™ Pet over the area for a minimum of 15 seconds, but no longer than 20 seconds. For larger areas, overlap swivel head placement.

3. When the Steam & Sweep™ Pet stops emitting steam, turn the unit off. Simply remove the water tank, refill, and continue cleaning.

Maintenance and care

When you’re done

1. Make sure both power switches are in the OFF (O)position. Unplug power cord from outlet.

2. Carefully remove mop pad from swivel head, as mop pad and lower assembly will be hot.

3. Any water remaining in the water tank should be emptied prior to machine storage.

4. Mop pad can be machine washed in warm water with mild detergent. For best results, air dry.

5. Wrap power cord around quick release cord wrap on side of Steam & Sweep Pet.

Update with Hack for improved performance
Pro: It does pick up dog hair. I live with a dog groomer who grooms out of our basement. The grooming room has indoor outdoor carpet and those pads that are comfortable to stand on so I could not test the Bissell steam and sweep in the grooming room. Instead I brought some dog hair upstairs and tried it in the living room on the hard floor. We have 3 schnauzers, non-shedding dogs all curious, and not in a good way, about this science experiment. The Bissell picked up all the dog hair I put down. It seems to work better if you sweep first and steam second. The dog hair was picked up by the rubber and deposited in the small container. (Which then needs to be cleaned manually out of the device. Green always seems to mean more manual labor)

Con: It does not pick up anything BUT dog hair. I couldn't get it to pick up any type of dirt other than dog hair. Not small leaves or dust or small bits of food. Nothing. So I had to sweep with a regular broom first. Which I always do...
Love this product
I love this product. It has made my life so much easier. I do sweep my floors and then use the sweeper. Darn it, it still picks up more dirt after I've swept. I find the steamer mop wonderful. My floors are shiny and clean. I am so old that I remember the days of a mop that you had to wring out my hand many times. I would have to get down on my hands and knees to finish up. I've given that up long ago but my floors suffered until I got this mop.
I have a chiweiner and a part chow-rot (who really sheds) and this Floor cleaner really picks up the hair. The cleaning pads are easy to use and I love that I just have to wash them instead of buying new pads (like a Swifter). My floors take less time to clean and look great. What's not to like?
I was surprised to read many people didn't like it. I think it's a great product especially if you have pets. I am buying one for my daughter-in-law who has three cats. Now that'll be a challenge.

Gorgeous Chairs
These are beautiful chairs and everything expected. The color is nicely antiqued and the chair seat is a very nice weave and appears to hold up well. The chairs are wonderfully light weight but very sturdy. I love them!

Imagine 'big', then double it...
OUT OF BOX EXPERIENCE
The device was well packaged by the manufacturer to protect against damage, but the unpacking process was a bit convoluted and involved more styrofoam and plastic bags than I'd have liked. Kudos for keeping the ceramic and glass safe, but I've seen much more delicate items packaged with less bulk and requiring less effort to unpack (Apple excels at this).

CRAFTSMANSHIP, FIT & FINISH and MATERIALS
The slow cooker is surprisingly light given its overall size. Not so light as to feel cheap or 'disposable', but light enough that most anybody could stow or lift it to counter height without issue. Materials are well chosen, with real metal, glass, ceramic, and plastics that aren't overly cheap feeling. In my experience, slow cookers have typically been extremely simple devices that keep working until you give them away, lose them in a divorce, or decide that the '70's vegetable theme print on the outside is too hideous to endure any longer. Comparison with the Hamilton Beach Set 'n Forget 6-Quart cooker
I've been cooking with a slow cooker for a couple years now, and the features I value most are a programmable slow cooker so I can control my cooking time, and a large capacity so I can make a lot of food for the rest of the week, as well as something that's big enough to fit a large roast in. The slow cooker that I've been using for the last two years is the Hamilton Beach 33967 Set 'n Forget 6-Quart Programmable Slow Cooker, which I really love. Since that seems to be the current top seller on Amazon, I'll use this review to compare the two.

Good, but...
1/18/12 - I am making my first pot of beans today. I noticed right off that the lid does not fit tight and you can see through into the crock pot from the front. I tried it both directions. I think the pot itself maybe faulty as the lid looks fine. Wondering if this is why my beans are not done after cooking for 10 hours mostly on medium today. About 4 of those hours were on high. I pre soaked for 12 hours and I've read to do it for 24, until they are sprouted. It is a beautiful crock tho... and love the handles.

1/20/12 - 2 days later: I cooked those beans for 27 hours and still they were not done... I called Frigidare at 888-845-7330 and they were great. She thought the lid was the problem so they are sending a new crock and lid. I'll update on my next crock pot project.

2/7/12 - Finally got the new crock and lid today - It's been 18 days since I called, but the lids fits great. It was definitely the crock, as the old lid fit the new one also. More to...

Nice for the price
I needed a small storage cabinet when fixing up my kitchen. After searching around, this was the best I could find for the price and size. I like that it is a nice, deep grey as it complements the light grey-blue wall color and stainless appliances nicely. The rest of the cabinets are white, but I set this on a far wall with no other cabinetry and it is a perfect touch!
The product arrived in two very heavy boxes. Thankfully, I was at home when UPS delivered it so the very kind driver could bring it right into the house for me. The stainless top is boxed separately, and I got the impression that you could also have chosen a butcher-board type top although I did not see that option on Amazon. The instructions leave a bit to be desired, particularly when piecing together the framing around the drawers. Very good height and size and a bonus
I received the buffet on Monday after ordering on Thursday. It was nicely packaged. There were quite a few pieces and it did take me over two hours to assemble the unit. It wasn't the easier assembly. Take your time. The color is exactly as pictured. The stainless steel top is very nice. This buffet is just the right size for a large coffee pot and toaster to sit on top. Keurig K cups store nicely in the drawers. There is plenty of storage in the bottom. All the edges are painted so it looks nice inside and out. It is the same height as most of the other counters in my kitchen. I am extremely happy with the way this buffet looks and functions. As a bonus, after I was done putting together the buffet, I took the well constructed, foam-lined shipping crate, lined it with an old blanket, cut a hole in one end and some vent holes in the sides, slipped it into a large construction type trash bag, and made a nice shelter for the stray cats that stay on my porch in the winter.

Great bang for your buckers!
After much looking, went with this one and although not a "non-stick", or recommended for high heat, it is a great stir fry pan and teflon free so no worries!

Calphalon Stainless 12inch stirfry
The 12 inch stirfry pan is large enough to cook for a crowd, easy to clean, looks great and was about half the price from Amazon.com than the local large department store.
Stainless steel wok is not good for stirfry
I see some professional chefs use stainless steel wok on some of the cooking shows, so I decided to give it a try. But I am very disappointed. The wok takes long time to heat up and you can't use high heat - it will burn easily. But the whole point of stir fry is to use high heat and get it done quickly. I used twice, first time I got uncooked vegitable and second time I turned the heat up a little bit (still not very high heat), I got food burned and sticked everywhere on the wok. I had to return the wok.

This is not a standard All-Clad Product - Made in China
The Roti models are not made with a three-ply construction with an aluminum core and magnetic stainless exterior. The Roti models are made in China (not America like the rest of the All Clad pots and pans) out of a non-magnetized stainless steel. They're not designed for use on induction or conventional stove tops (a common step in the preparation of gravy).

A curiousity: The All Clad Web site doesn't appear to list the Roti models. I couldn't find it under any category. This model is an orphan.

Stay away cheap junk not tri-ply even though you will see it is called tri-ply some places
Unfortunately I bought one of these pans because I read this expensive roaster was a tri-ply. It is not and if you put it in a hot oven it warps like crazy. Once I realized that this was not the All-Clad that I was used to I contacted All-Clad. I have an entire kitchen full of All-Clad and they told me to stuff it. So that will be the last "All-Clad" I will ever purchase. There are many alternatives which are multi-ply at a considerably lower cost. As All-Clad does not stand behind their merchandise there is hardly any benefit in buying their products. Read the Cook's Magazine review about this pan if you have any doubts.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, DON'T BUY IT!
I'm italian living in the USA and I bought the Bialetti Brand because is very well knowed in Italy as a good brand. But these items started to chip out pieces and being scretced since the first 2 days. All of them, evne if some of the pans I probably used only 2 or 3 times they alraedy look old and you can see the metal. Unfortunately when I received them I threw away ALL my old pans and now I'm stuck with this horrible chipped ones that I just bought 4 months ago!!! i oly used soft sponges and organic mineral based soaps. They are also starting to get "brownish"in the middle hwere the heat is stronger. I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! Just don't buy it.

Scratches
I bought the 3 skillets from BB&B. Not Cheap. The inside of the skillets is starting to turn black where it is like there were scratches. I never use anything but plastic or wood when I am cooking with these skillets. The red exterior is pealing on the bottom. I now wish I never bought them. They do not wash up easy anymore and I only had them for a little over a month.
well worth the money!
I bought this set as a result of receiving a larger pan with a cover for my birthday. i loved cooking in this non-stick pan so much that I researched getting a whole set to replace my mis-matched pots and pans. I am so pleased with these pots and pans. I cook every night and have loved these pans from the moment i started using them. Yes the ceraminc coating chips a little where they touch each other when you stack them in the cabinet but it doesn't effect how they cook food. They clean up very easily- so easy it seems too good to be true- and cook food evenly and perfectly. I absolutely recommend getting these pans! well worth the money we spent on them!!!!
I also recommend the all-in-one 7 use tool that comes up with these as a separate item to order, it's been a perfect
match for cooking with these pots and pans so as to not harm their finish.

Chair throw cover
Arrived quickly in good condition. This is not a fitted slipcover, which is fine for my purposes. The material is a bit thinner than I had anticipated, but it seems to work fine. It washes well and is an attractive color(cream to white).

Not worth the money
I purchased this product for a bathroom. It's not worth more than $10.00. The brass-like trashcan arrived scratched. It looks like it's wrapped in brass colored plastic wrap.

ByeBye Mop and Bucket!!!
I admit it I finally bought something because I saw it on an infomercial and all I can say is that I am very impressed!! I have 2 dogs, a husband that works in the oilfield, me the messy cook, and I live in sandy red dirt west Texas. This thing can really handle it all. I also like how the mop pad also goes over my 1/4 round on the baseboards and gets them too.In addition I love that I don't have to immediatly leave the area after I have mopped because the fumes from the chemicals are so strong... as my experience was when I tried the swiffer wetjet. I had debated as to whether to get this with the Bissell CatchAll or to get the Hoover Floormate and so far I am very happy with th choice I have made.
One hint I found out when using this product that is not mentioned in the instructions is that it works best when you pull it backwards instead of forwards.( like I do when using my hoover steamvac widepath) I noticed when I was pushing forwards all the steam seamed to be coming out...

for people who hate mopping
I love a clean floor, but I hate mopping so much that I put it off and put it off. Kitchen floors in a busy household should be mopped AT LEAST once a week, but wringing a heavy wet mop and dealing with all that dirty water - yuck. So when I saw this, I thought that if it lived up to its billing, it would be the answer to my prayers. (By the way - the swiffer doesn't get the floor clean at all to my satisfaction, costs too much and leaves unwanted chemicals smeared around)

After trying this I can say that yes, it really does get the floor clean - not as clean as if I had scrubbed on my hands and knees but much cleaner than a quickie mop job. And no wringing, no rinsing, no dirty bucket of water. Just one pass and I'm done. It works on both linoleum and ceramic tile/grout and fits around the back of the toilet.I am also pleased with the slim profile which makes it easy to store.

A few tips: to get the floor clean you have to go SLOW. REALLY SLOW. But one pass done this way over...

with a household of 6, we see some serious dirt! we have ceramic tiling in most of our downstairs and it gets filthy! with young children we have big messes-and i HATE to mop, but i do have to clean it, eventually. i saved one of those eventual times for when i received my steam mop-just to see how well it would do. i am totally impressed!! this thing got up stuck on dried food-dirt-everything! and yes even more so then a reg mop. usually i have to scrub on hands and knees to get most anything stuck on, but with this i just steamed over a stuck on spot for a few secs and it came right up! just for an example-we have a dried baby cereal spot that has been there for months-that stuff is like concrete and nothing will take it up! i have tried soaking, scrubbing, scraping-all to no avail! then i held the steam mop over it for about 15 secs and most of it came up! the only thing i would recommend is getting the replacement pads when you buy it. they will get saturated with...

Comfortable, cute, but not the best knock off
Cute, affordable, and comfortable, but I guess I was expecting them to be more like the original Eiffel Tower shell chair and have a glossy finish, which they don't. i bought two sets and had to return one because of a huge scratch in one chair out of the box (easy return, btw- thanks, Amazon). The replacement pair were more of a semi-gloss than the flat finish of the first set, plus had a big black mark on one that I had to scrub out, so the quality control is somewhat questionable. Nevertheless, I don't have any regrets, because I wasn't about to pay the price for the originals.

Great looking chair but..
Like other reviewers I experienced some issues assembling the product. The metal base doesn't exactly line up with the holes on the seat so I had to really work hard to get it screwed in properly. It was a pain but eventually got it assembled.

Once assembled, the chairs look great and are very comfortable for the length of time of a meal (don't try to use this as an office chair for the whole day. I did and it is not made for that). There's only one catch - the seat height is actually only about 16.5" high even though when I asked the seller, I was informed it was 18". It might be 18" from the very front of the seat but that's not where your butt goes. The seat curves down about 1.5" from that top point (where your knees are), making the true seat height only 16.5". If you have a standard height dining table of 30", this chair is going to be too small.
