Just what I wanted
I've been looking for a garlic keeper for a while, and this is just what I was looking for. It holds two good sized (not elephant) bulbs of garlic, plus some additional cloves without taking up a huge amount of space on my counter. Once I bought a really large bulb that had to be separated before I could get it in, but it held it plus another average sized bulb, and kept the separated cloves fresh. I've kept garlic a couple weeks in it and have seen no evidence of deterioration. The only downside I could envision is if you had large hands; the opening is somewhat small. But you can always dump them out, so it wouldn't be a big deal. It's very attractive and looks great on my counter; it looks richer in person than in the picture. The lid fits really well.

Le Creuset NEVER Fails!
What can I say? I love my garlic keeper and I've roasted garlic in it too! I just wish they sold them in red to match all of my other Le Creuset cookware items. Other than that, if you love garlic, this is a must!
Great proportions, very cute
I got this garlic keeper as a gift for someone, and am very tempted to buy one for myself!
One caveat is that it's not that large, it will hold about 3 average-sized bulbs of garlic. It is adorable however, with a small garlic impression on the front. The color is quite neutral (the lid has a slight yellow tint) and would go with most kitchens.
